Traveler reviews
Worst tour ever!
The worst tour I have ever been on. Our driver was rude and angry. His disappeared for 30 minutes to give other people a dune tour as a result we completely missed the sunset, we didn't get a camel ride. I paid extra for a private car thinking it would be a little more unique and a better service due to the expense, but it was the complete opposite. I would avoid this tour at all costs.
Safari in Dubai
Alyas, our driver, accompanied us throughout the tour. We were picked up on time. The dune bashing was great. There was a dance and fire show in the camp. Afterwards there was a buffet. All in all, everything was fine.
We should have skipped this tour
we spent a week in Dubai and this was our least favorite day. I chose this operator because of the good reviews, and the driver was nice and professional, but the entire desert safari experience and camp were not what we expected. The fire and dance shows were mediocre at best. The food wasn't tasty (only the grilled chicken tasted good). They only had white wine and it was really bad. We sat in the VIP section and the couches were gross, they've probably never been cleaned. The camel ride was about 10 meters long just enough to take a pic, and the free henna tattoo is a small flower, you have to pay for an actual design. There's a $5 surcharge for every credit card payment, so bring cash. The dunes bashing was fun but we didn't last more than 5min before we were getting sick from the ride. Too much time was spent at a stop (before and after the dunes bashing) that's not even mentioned in the program where vendors bother you with products or rentals we didn't need or ask for. Our favorite moment of the whole tour was literally when we left the camp to sit on a sand dune and watch the sunset, could have done that without an organized tour.
A truly unforgettable Desert Safari experience !
We had Wasim as our driver cum guide to desert safari on Sunday 27 November 2022. He was perhaps the best guide l've ever had. He was very hospitable, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us a brief history of Dubai and its rich cultural history in just 45 mins ! He is a priceless gem in the company he works for. From Christopher Chan (Malaysia).
Review for desert safari
Our driver, Wassim was very entertaining and kind. The dune bashing was amazing and the food was nice. The whole experience deserves five stars. Wassim also made our day and gave us a lot of good info about dubai and things that we should note during our trip. Thanks a lot to our driver Wassim and the company.
