Itinerary
Plitvice Lakes is the oldest and largest national park in the Republic of Croatia
The lake system has been divided into the Upper and Lower lakes. The twelve lakes forming the Upper Lakes are: Prošćansko jezero, Ciginovac, Okrugljak, Batinovac, Veliko jezero, Malo jezero, Vir, Galovac, Milino jezero, Gradinsko jezero, Burgeti and Kozjak.
The Lower Lakes, consisting of the lakes Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac and Novakovića Brod, were formed in permeable limestone substrate, cut into a deep canyon with steep cliffs. The lakes end in the impressive waterfalls Sastavci, with the Korana River springing under the base of the falls.

Our guide Richard and driver George were excellent! Both were so interesting to talk to and provided us with an incredible experience. And the Lakes are amazing, photos don’t do them justice. I would absolutely recommend this trip and Richard and George to anyone looking for an amazing Croatian experience.

Perfect day in Plitvice Lakes Nat Park
A fantastic day, thanks to Lovros, who was an excellent guide. He had infinite knowledge of the park, history and geology, floral and fauna. He was charming but very professional and managed to keep our large group of 50 intact and on time. It's a long day but the park surpassed all my expectations and I learned so much, thanks to our excellent guide Lovros. Our driver Marcos was also very professional and I felt quite safe throughout the long drive. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get to have Lovros as your guide!
