Itinerary
Pass by: We pick you up at your hotel about 8am and transfer about 2 hours to Bến Tre town. Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat on one of the tributaries of the Mekong River, sightseeing lively activities along the way. Your visits include:
* Brick kilns: They rise up in clusters of beehive-shaped structures that churn out millions of bricks each year in handy traditional style. They offer a fascinating glimpse at a local industry. * Coconut-processing workshop: Witness step-by-step how to make coconut candy and coconut oil; enjoy some candies, and coconut juice.
* Visit to a local family, see where they make traditional mats and enjoy some fruits and tea. It is a chance to interact with local people to know more about rural life. * Take a motor cart or cycle ride on shady roads, pass by green fields and vegetable plantations and find out about tropical culture from the villagers. * A 5-course lunch served at a riverside restaurant with specialties such as elephant-ear fish, spring rolls… you can also request in advance if you are vegetarian, you have food allergies or you observe Halal. * Hand-rowing sampan: Enjoy what local people offer as they hand-row your sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We drive back to Sà i Gòn and drop you at your hotel about 5pm.

We did the full-day tour of the Mekong Delta with Luan/Ethan as our guide. Luan was a great tour guide, making sure we are well informed and looked after on the trip. He was very good in explaining (in English) all the details. We visited coconut candy factory, honey bee farm (tasters included) and had the best lunch! Will definitely recommend.

Off the beaten track Mekong Delta
Really good trip to discover the depths of Mekong Delta area. If you want to choose a non-touristy option and mingle more with the locals, pick this one! Great guide and driver.
Amazing Full-Day Mekong Experience with Asianalink
We had a fantastic full-day Mekong River tour with Asianalink – definitely a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Hung, made the experience truly special. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history and culture, which added a lot of depth to the tour. What we loved most was how personal and flexible everything felt. It was just me, my friend, and Hung, so we weren’t tied to a strict schedule. Being such a small group made it easy to explore at our own pace and enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you want a more relaxed and authentic Mekong experience!
