Must do this exact tour when in Beijing
This tour was the highlight of our China trip. The local family were so lovely and the dumpling making was brilliant. Martin who does the cricket fighting show is highly entertaining and so interesting. It’s a great day out with a mix of temples, local off the track sights and interesting facts. Lucy was our guide, she was brilliant. This tour is worth every cent particularly how much food the local family make you, and they will even give you a beer! Brilliant day.
This is my second time to Beijing and this is an ABSOLUTE must!!!!
We had Lucy as our guide, she was excellent. So informative and also very easy to get along with and so helpful. She’s actually the best tour guide we have ever had. The tour itself was awesome. The highlight was making dumplings with a local family and the cricket fighting. It was so unique to get away from all the other tourists and travellers and spend time with a local family. And the dumpling making was SO fun. After the dumplings the local family made us the most delicious lunch, there is so much food so you can skip breakfast that morning! Martin who does the cricket fighting part is hilarious, so entertaining. This is a must do tour when in Beijing. Make sure you ask for Lucy as your guide, you won’t be disappointed.
