Traveler reviews
Great long day tour. well worth it.
Wow what a long great day. Our group was on a short bus with Papa Paulo in charge. He provided history, snacks and entertainment. We had impromptu stops that were things you would not have seen on your own. He was friendly and not in your face. He was personable and aware of everyones needs. Well worth this trip as we got everything I wanted in one day and rest the remainder.
Great all day tour
Oh boy where do I start. What a great day by Papa P! The best tour. Long day but we were still on East coast time so the early start was worth this day. 12 hours and we loved it. Papa provided drinks for hydrations and snacks. Pre ordered lunch (not included, which was known) Impromptu stops along the way. Dole plantation was nothing of anyting but we wanted to stop. Polynesian center was awesome. He knew when to move from on show to the next to get great seats. We had time on our own as well. He was prepared at lunch with things to wash our hands and also keep the bugs away. Thank you Papa Paulo for the best tour!! Thank you Barbara
Top notch tour guide and day!
We had the best day seeing the highlights of Oahu! Started our day with Pearl Harbor, followed by the Dole Plantation, we had lunch with Uncle Dan and his incredible huli huli chicken and spicy shrimp, closed things out at the Polynesian cultural center! Incredible day all around! Our tour guide, Summer was warm and inviting. She knew her stuff and gave us tons of insights into the island, the history, and the people! She made the trip top notch!!!
Great day tour
Summer was a great tour guide and really enthusiastic about her work. We really appreciated her knowledge about our activities and Hawaii in general
Immersive Cultural Experience
This was an immersive cultural and historical experience thanks to our guide, Pappa P! He is a wonderful storyteller and history buff who shared some incredible things about his own family's experience during the Pearl Harbor bombing and life after. He guided us on where to go at Pearl Harbor and ensured we all had seats to the two main shows at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The shows are only once a day, so this was incredibly helpful. The Dole Plantation was underwhelming, but Pappa P had warned us about it. He also allowed us to choose which quick stops we made along the way. Our group voted on ice cream at the coffee bean farm instead of stopping at the fruit stand! He also ensured we had food and even had a huge box of snacks and cold drinks for everyone. The tour itself was lovely, but Pappa P made it an incredible educational and immersive experience.
