Private Bordeaux Transfer & Château Cooking Day
Enjoy a seamless full‑day private escape from Bordeaux that combines chauffeur‑driven transport, a hands‑on château cooking class with lunch and estate wines, and an afternoon visit and tasting at a second winery. You are collected in Bordeaux by your driver‑guide and taken into the vineyards, free to relax and focus entirely on food, wine and scenery.

Flexible wine region

To secure the best possible château and chef on your date, the cooking class may take place in one of three major Bordeaux appellations: Médoc, Saint‑Émilion, or Graves/Pessac‑Léognan. The exact estate is confirmed after booking once availability is checked, but you always cook and dine on‑site at a working wine property in one of these prestigious regions.

Morning château cooking, lunch & wines

On arrival at the selected château, meet your local chef for a private, French‑style cooking class in the estate kitchen. Together you prepare a multi‑course seasonal menu using regional ingredients, then sit down to enjoy the meal you have created, paired with a curated selection of the château’s own red and/or white wines.

Afternoon second estate visit

After lunch, your driver‑guide takes you to a second nearby château in the same wine area for a classic cellar tour and guided tasting. You discover how the estate works with local grape varieties and blends—Cabernet‑driven reds in Médoc or Graves/Pessac‑Léognan, or Merlot‑led wines in Saint‑Émilion—and taste several cuvées that illustrate the region’s style and terroir.

Relaxed return to Bordeaux

In the late afternoon, unwind during your private transfer back to Bordeaux, dropped at your hotel or another central point of your choice. This flexible format lets you enjoy a full gourmet day in the vineyards—cooking, tasting and visiting two estates—while all château reservations, regional choices and driving are handled for you based on the best options available for your date.

A pleasant short boat ride, beautiful surroundings. But the English translation did not fit with the altered tour, did not mention plenty of formations that the guide was explaining in French and didn't bother to switch to English for the rest of us (yes he knew English), so we missed out on a lot. Plus the guide made fun of english speakers, as evidenced by the pointed laughter in the direction of those wearing headphones.

Our guide was excellent, both knowledgeable and friendly. She was especially knowledgeable about the wine industry even before we got to the vineyards
