Meet your friendly professional driver in Kuala Lumpur and begin this memorable 4 hours Batu Caves and Temple Tour. You’ll drive through Little India, a neighborhood in Brickfields known for it’s colorful streets, flavorful cuisine and unique shops.
After Batu Caves, your driver will drive you toward Thean Hou Temples which is one of the most beautiful Chines Temple in Kuala Lumpur. The Thean Hou Temple is a landmark six-tiered Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989. The temple, built by the Hainanese community living in Kuala Lumpur, is dedicated to Goddess Tian Hou (The Heavenly Mother).
After Thean Hou temple you will have a short visit in China Town. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favorites such as Hokkien mee, ikan bakar (barbecued fish), Asam Laksa and curry noodles. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders.
National Mosque (Masjid Negara) is one of the most famous and visiting place in Kuala Lumpur with the capacity for 15,000 people and is situated among 13 acres of beautiful gardens. The original structure was designed by a three-person team from the Public Works Department: UK architect Howard Ashley, and Malaysians Hisham Albakri and Baharuddin Kassim. The mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent Malaysia.

Traveler reviews
Interesting tour of the Batu Caves and KL cultural hotspots
There was only myself and my guide Luis on the trip, which was fine by me as I don’t like large group tours. We visited all the places of interest and Luis was able to give some good history on the various places.
Tour was okay but it was...
Tour was okay but it was more hiring a driver than an actual tour. The driver was a nice guy and gave us some snippets of info in the car between sites but then he stayed with the car and didn’t give us a tour of any of the temples so we had to just explore ourselves. This was disappointing as it felt a bit lazy to call this a tour when it was really just hiring a driver for 4 hours. We enjoyed the temples and sites but probably could do this a lot cheaper just getting Grab Taxis yourself for half the price.
Great tour!
Yuva was an absolutely amazing private driver and guide. He picked me up from my hotel and gave me such detailed information about all of the places we visited as well as how life is in Kuala Lumpur. He made sure to explain every stop and told me exactly where he would be waiting for me before heading to our next stop. He would always take pictures for me as well at each stop and provided plenty of water. Highly recommend this tour!
Excellent Day!
An excellent experience of Kuala Lumpur. I only had one day in the city before I go home. Louis was an excellent tour guide and showed me so much of the city. I was worried, because I walk with a cane. It ended up being a really great day and I learned so much. Louis made sure that I saw everything listed on the tour. Also, this is a private tour which made it even better. Excellent experience!
