Itinerary
At 7 a.m., your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your Luxor hotel and take you north of Luxor, past local everyday life.
As you drive to Abydos Temple, take in the scenery of quaint villages and listen very carefully as your expert guide tells you about the temple's fascinating history. Abydos Temple is one-of-a-kind in many ways, including its limestone architecture, which is laid out over three stages. Explore this historical treasure trove to learn why.
Afterwards, drive on to Dendara Temple. Dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of motherhood, the Dendara Temple dates back to the late Ptolemaic Period and is located on holy Egyptian ground. The site is renowned for its relics of religious structures built during the reign of the Old Kingdom of Pharaoh Pepi the First. Nice day tour in Luxor
Despite some unexpected challenges with Ramadan-adjusted temple opening times and a few driver hiccups, Yohana handled everything with professionalism and positivity, adapting smoothly so the day stayed enjoyable and stress-free. His kindness, politeness, and attentiveness made me feel well cared for and his extensive explanations brought the temples to life—I would have missed so many incredible details if I was by myself. Dendera quickly became one of my absolute favorite sites in Egypt, and the sunset felucca ride on the Nile he arranged was the special ending. The excursion went very well. The driver picked me up at the agreed time. The Osama guide gave a lot of very interesting information and is a real enthusiast of Egyptian history!
