Company error on Pick time- Refund Refused
I had booked a transfer from Panama city to the Airport for 6:30 a.m to catch my flight. This was confirmed via messages in the viator chat. On the morning of my flight I waited for my driver. I messaged the car company then I called them because I was waiting and I didn’t see the driver. I aslo called the car company and they transferred my call to dispatch. No one in dispatch answered and a long automated message continued to play. So not wanting to miss my flight I quickly decided to make other arrangements. As my other car arrived at the hotel, this car company driver showed up showing me he had the time at 6:45 a.m. This is unacceptable and they refused to give me a refund. I was depending on them to pick me up at the hotel on time. Failure to do so triggered my anxiety about missing my flight. And now they refuse to refund my money when they make an error about the pick up time.
30 minutes late
30 minutes late, no message... Hotline call, "driver will be there in 5 minutes" On arrival asks me $5. Well, I got my plane because I'd taken off
Uncout taxi driver
The taxi driver, a woman was horrible. We requested a taxi for 2 persons and indicated that we had 3 checked suitcases. The driver arrived in a 3 door car, the trunk couldn't hold even 1 suitcase. My friend optef to take another taxi, while I went her. Worst mistake! She demanded more money from me. She claimed Viator did not include the toll in the fare. I wrote viator the same day I returned home, they have never responded.
Was 20 minutes late but...
Was 20 minutes late but not his fault as there was taxi. Beware you have to pay an extra $5 for toll. He tried to charge us $10 and we refused. He ended up a nice guy and we still gave him a nice tip
Scammed and Stranded at my hotel lobby
Do NOT book with this service. Not only did the driver not respond to the Company’s call but the customer service team is unprofessional and rude. “The driver isn’t picking up the phone. What do you want me to do” is an unacceptable response! This company will leave you hanging with no explanation or accountability. Just use your hotel’s transportation. Using anything else feels like a scam and you will be stranded.
