Rosetta is considered as a large open-air museum for Islamic architecture. The great number ofIslamic monuments found here does not exist in any other city, except for Cairo. Unfortunately most of these unique monuments are neglected, modern buildings surround them, and the unplanned urbanization also affects them badly, causing much damage. Therefore it is necessary for a great national effort to be made to save them, in order to revive the historical character of the city. At the end of the tour transfer you back to your hotel in Alexandria.

Great excursion.
It was great trip to see the town of Radshead/Risetta. We got to visit the site where “Rosetta Stone” was discovered. Received a grand tour at the citadel of Quaibey. The tour guide and the driver showed us the town where we were met with friendly faces. Enjoyed the spectacular view where the Nile river and the Mediterranean Sea meet. Ended the tour with a lunch with delicious fish and a beautiful beach view.
