In the morning, your tour guide and private car with driver will come to meet you at your hotel lobby. The first place you will visit the Tiananmen Square which is the biggest city center square in the world. Moreover, along famous Chang'an Street, you will see The Great Hall of People, and The National Museum (used to be named Chinese history and revolution museum). In additional, the center of the square is the Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

From the Tiananmen Gate you can walk towards the Forbidden City (the biggest Imperial Palace in world). There are 9999.5 rooms inside, and with over 600 years history. There were total 24 Chinese emperors who lived and ruled the country in this place from Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty). It's worth to spend a couple of hours to visit the highlight of the Forbidden City.

After your authentic food lunch, you will heading famous Badaling Great Wall, one of the most magnificent sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. This section of the Wall is about 2.3-miles long (3.7 kilometers) and on average 26-feet (8 meters) high. The highest section is wide enough for five horses to ride abreast. Badaling was the earliest part open to the visitors among all the sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. You can hike the Great Wall for two to three hours, or have the option to take cable car up and down (own expense). During winter season, you will see the snow that covers the mountaintop and the Wall. You will be amazed by this beautiful scenery. You will have couple of hours to enjoy the hiking here. After the tour, you will transferred back to your hotel.

Exploring Beijing in one day with Nancy

We had a fantastic day today exploring Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden city and of course the Grest Wall with our very special tour guide Nancy!! Her knowledge, energy and patience was second to none and she couldn’t do enough for us. The driver also did a good job driving us safely around in a clean and comfortable car I highly recommend this tour with Nancy
