Private 3 Day West of Ireland and Cliffs of Moher Luxury Car Tour

We just finished an amazing 3 day tour with James Lonergan of Liberty Irish Tours and all we can say is AMAZING! James is not only a truly lovely guy, being with him was like hanging with the best most fun teacher you’ve ever had who seemed to know someone at every stop, knew all of the roads less traveled, and taught us so much about this beautiful country and its history. To say we will miss him is an understatement. We love James, and he will forever remain in our memories and heart. If you are on the fence about booking a driver and tour, jump at this opportunity. You will not be sorry.

Tour was absolutely fantastic. We travelled the west coast from Killarney to Galway and saw the major sites en route (Dingle peninsula, Cliffs of Moher, etc.) as well as the out-of-the-way rural Ireland that Americans might often miss. Everything was well-curated without feeling touristy. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about our 3 days with James at Liberty Irish Tours. For our first trip to Ireland and as a family, he was knowledgeable, attentive to the needs of everyone (especially with 5 of us and one day the 3 girls!), and most importantly….he shared his love of Ireland with us! I was so nervous about the navigation and he enabled us to sit back, relax, and enjoy the day (all 3 days!).

This tour is worth every penny and so much better than the large bus tours that are so regimented. It was relaxing to have someone else do the driving and have the knowledge to provide you with history and fun facts about Ireland along the way. We were lucky enough to spend time with both James and Taufeeq, and they both did an amazing job of personalizing the tour for us - from a detour to Sean's Bar in Athlone to a last minute boat tour of the Cliffs of Moher. Some of the stand out moments on the tour were the fjord boat cruise, the Kylemore Abby, the sheep herding demonstration, walking around Galway, and the Cliffs of Moher (if the weather cooperates, definitely do the boat tour!) However, what made us absolutely fall in love with the country, were the people. Take the time to get to know your drivers and the locals. Everyone we met along the way were so happy and nice and have a true love of their country.
