Begin with a romantic stroll across the Charles Bridge enjoying the breathtaking view of the Castle panorama after which you sink into the streets of the Lesser Town.
Take a tram and enjoy the beautiful view on our way up to the Prague Castle.
As you stroll through the ancient seat of the Czech kings and emperors, carried away by the monumental splendor of the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, your guide will reveal some more from the glorious royal past of the Czech Lands.
Continue to the Jewish Quarter, once the largest Jewish settlement in Europe! Here in the area with unusually mysterious atmosphere we find number of exceptionally preserved synagogues and the ancient Old Jewish Cemetery. The highlight of the walk is the Prague Old Town with the beautiful Old Town Square. This old marketplace, originally built in the 11th century, is Dominated by the splendid Church of Our Lady Before Týn and the Old Town Hall. Here, as a living witness of the history, the Prague Astronomical Clock has been measuring time for more than six centuries.
But now is the time for well deserved rest and refreshment. You are warmly welcome to enjoy an excellent lunch in one of the traditional Prague's pubs. Taste typical Czech food and maybe even a glass of fine Czech beer!
After the lunch you will still have an opportunity to explore some of the most picturesque narrow streets of medieval Old Town on your way to the pier. Now, pleasantly tired, you hop aboard a fully wooden boat built in the tradition of the 19th century and your Vltava River cruise can start! Do not forget to have your camera ready to capture snaps of some of Prague’s legendary landmarks as you go, now from a different perspective! In winter, the guests are kept warm by period stoves and hot wine, in summer they are served cold beer or soft drinks accompanied by a sweet treat.
After your cruise you have a unique chance of a free visit to the Charles Bridge Museum which is located at the very same spot. In front of the Charles Bridge, at Krizovnicke square, by the Statue Charles IV.

Totally worthwhile - learned so much. Our guide, Ross, was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a new appreciation for spirit of the Czech people and what they have overcome.
Excellent tour with Ross
Excellent tour with Ross our guide. His in depth knowledge of the history of Prague was invaluable. The lunch and boat tour were an added bonus. Highly recommend!
Nice experience with Eric as a guide
It’s only a city tour without visiting the places inside but we could see many different places. It was a nice experience!
Great tour- read notes
I think this is a great tour to take on one of your first days on a Prague trip. The all-inclusive price is perfect if you want to just book a tour and not need to worry about the other logistical details (admission, transport, lunch). You’ll see several wonderful attractions and learn some deep history. Our guide Katarina was excellent and gave detailed history both from long ago and recent. I enjoyed her commentary on daily life of the Czech people, as well. A few things to note: 1. This tour is very broad but you don’t go inside any specific location. So if you want to see the inside of any area, come back and purchase admission to this attraction later. I appreciated this as a “bold strokes” view of a lot of Prague’s main attractions. 2. The lunch was in a highly tourist area but it was still very nice. I enjoyed the variety of options and hard to beat a Czech beer. 3. Plan to get a lot of steps in (close to 10k) but it’s mostly downhill. Bringing water is a smart idea since there are few real stopping points until lunch. 4. We chose to get the Charles Bridge Museum and boat tour tickets for later. We’ve not been yet but you don’t “need” to do these immediately after the tour, although the majority of our group chose to. 5. The headsets worked well for hearing our guide in a busy area. Going in late-May, it was quite busy but I assume it only gets busier over the summer. Overall, this was one of the more expensive tour options but I was happy with the price for everything to be included and take the guess work out of experiencing some of Prague’s major sites.
