Great way to see Port Arthur without a car

This tour is a great way to see Port Arthur without a car. The visit to Port Arthur includes a harbour cruise done together as a group with the remaining time left free to explore Port Arthur as you like. Our driver/guide Rod was very knowledgeable providing a lot of history on the drive and plenty of recommendations for things to eat, see, and do in Hobart.

This was a fantastic day...

This was a fantastic day out. So much to see and do along the way. It really is a full day of activities and information. Our guide was excellent.

Not a guided tour one bit

The minivan you go in was tiny and had no leg room. They say it is a guided tour of Port Arthur and all it was a driver driving you there and giving commentary on sights along the way. Once there you have to do the tour yourself so you are just paying for the transport and it is not worth it.

Not a guided tour of Port Arthur

I did this tour thinking that you would get a guide tour around Port Arthur and you don’t get that. You basically get a driver in a small mini van that is not comfortable for a taller person. He gives an informative commentary but really it is just whilst he is driving down. Once at Port Arthur you are left to your own which adds value to the experience. For the price I don’t think it is of value.
