Much less than expected.
First of all we booked a 9:00 AM small group (8 people) tour. What we got was a tour time change to 10:00 AM which caused us to miss another tour we had booked. When we were finally picked up about 20 minutes late we stopped at several more stops to pick up additional people. When we finally got to the tour destination we were over an hour late and were grouped together with 25 others. The tour guide's English was not very good and he did not use any hearing enhancement device (although the guide company lied about that fact to Trip Advisor when I tried to get a partial refund). I believe the guide was knowledgeable about Pompeii but between the lack of hearing enhancement and the poor English we didn't get much out of the tour. It was a very HOT day and the tour guide did not provide any water like many other tours we have been on. I'm not sure if we will go through Trip Advisor in the future because they use independent services and seem to side with them over the customer when issues come up. We have better luck using Tours By Locals.
Very unhappy
Was told to meet at a time and they change it. Stood waiting for over a hour. Very unrealiable still waiting very dissapointed.
AMAZING POMPEII AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
Pompeii was absolutely amazing and our guide, Younis was very knowledgeable and funny and likable and added to our experience at pompeii He deserves a payrise! 😊 He also helpfully arranged our transport back for our journey home which we was not expecting so we thank him for that too.
