Glorious. And a wonderful guide team.

We did this tour yesterday (12 Sept) which happened to be blisteringly hot !! This led to great photos but did mean we were almost melting in the sun at Pisa. The tour itself was brilliantly organised. Our main guide was a lady from Brazil (Duna I think?) who was lovely. Her English was perfect, and she also spoke fluent Italian and Spanish (though she said her Spanish was only “passable” !!!! I’d love to be able to speak other languages as well as that !!!) Pisa itself is magnificent. The tour had plenty of spare time to explore the areas not included in the tour itself. Lucca is beyond beautiful. What an amazing city. We could easily have spent a day or more there, but sadly only had 2-3hrs. Great shopping, lovely restaurants, beautiful old city walls. This was an amazing day. Only warnings I would offer: - Tower itself is a pretty epic climb. Don’t book if you’re not sure. (You can buy a ticket when you’re there if you want to) - It’s not especially strenuous but there is a fair bit of walking on this tour. My phone recorded a 14km walk (some of this was exploring towns in our spare time) ... none of this was particularly hilly or tiring at the time - but we’re a bit achy today !! All in all though - I would thoroughly recommend.

This tour was nice mainly because...

This tour was nice mainly because the tour guides were great, friendly and professional. However, I can't give it four stars because there was WAY too much time spent in Pisa. Like 2-3 hours too much. This is mainly because of the wine tasting/lunch that takes place in Pisa at a mediocre restaurant. What they should have done was left Pisa immediately after finishing the tours and eaten in Lucca where you want more time anyway because once you do the tower in Pisa, that's really it and the city is sort of gross.

Lucca was very special and I really wish there was more time spent there.

The one redeeming thing of this tour was the people running it. They were great!

If I were you, I would probably look into either a different Pisa/Lucca tour where more time is focused on Lucca, or just doing it by train yourself. The buses we took weren't even all that great. On the way to Lucca, it was so hot on the bus that it woke me from my nap. I thought the old people on the bus were going to croak!

Organised tour, wonderful locations and an amazing staff

My friend and I had an absolutely splendid day visiting Pisa and Lucca. Very attractive places with a rich history. We had lunch, the lentil soup was delicious! I would like to personally thank Ms. Jenni (the tour guide) and Ms. Violetta (the coordinator) for their role in the tour, they were friendly and professional. I would love to repeat this experience again. Lavoro Fantastico!
