A quiet day around Pig Island
We wanted something slower, and this private longtail trip matched that perfectly. Having our own boat made the day feel flexible. The beach became busier later in the afternoon, so going earlier would be even better.
Fun to do with kids
The trip by private boat is very convenient. You can fill in the times and schedule all by yourself. The captain was friendly and his girlfriend was also with us and paid close attention to our son Pig Island is fun for small children. You can take nice pictures of pigs on the beach. Not much else to do or see. The trip itself by boat is definitely worth it.
Great trip
Very easy to book and clear instructions on where to go. Much cheaper than hotel options and we were first on the island so had time before the crowds arrived and our boat driver was polite and helpful and happy to help with a good a snorkelling spot, did not rush us to leave. Definitely worth booking over other providers that are a lot more expensive.
Would recommend
This tour does have snorkeling, although it's not listed in the itinerary. We didn't want to snorkel, so we just told our guide and spent the whole time on Pig Island, so that was not a big deal. I also booked the tour for the 1-5 person group, and somehow they only had our booking for 4 people. We had to pay extra when we arrived in order to have 5 people on the boat. I am not entirely sure of what went on there, but it was only 500 baht to add another person. Overall, the tour company was accommodating, so we would recommend this.
Koh Madsum
I had an easy, peaceful private boat to Koh Madsum, where there are pigs and dogs galore. The captain was kind and waited for me to be finished, he took me to a snorkeling spot and took me back to the pier when I asked.
