Itinerary
Pass by: All hot air balloon tours check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.
Pass by: Enjoy stunning views of iconic Camelback Mountain in the heart of the Phoenix Valley. You pilot will share the history of this fascinating city and will point out local wildlife and plant life.
Pass by: You will be able to see Downtown Phoenix in the distance as you soar over the valley. As you begin to land, you'll see a table complete with linens and china in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You are greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

Exceptional
Very exciting but calming at the same time. Pilot was knowledgeable and funny, great sense of humor. The certificates were a nice touch too.
Beautiful experience marred by an unprofessional pilot at the end
The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Joy and Tommy were amazing throughout this entire experience! They were very clear on rules and expectations which made us all feel very safe and comfortable. It was an amazing flight and I would 100% do this again!

This was an AWESOME experience! Amazing views, great hot air balloon operator, very knowledgeable! Love the champagne toast after the ride. Can't wait to bring my kiddos.
