The must do in Philly
Don’t think you can walk around or take -you know the bus- to get the info and up close that this walking tour provided. Our guide was very informative, knew his history and gave some great insight. We covered all the must see places. Don’t miss this one. If it’s the one thing you do, do this.
Ty was very personable...
Ty was very personable and knowledgeable. He provided a little humor. He checked in with us to make sure we all were keeping up
Great tour
Great tour! Right amount of walking and facts. My 7 and 10 year old really enjoyed it too. Learned a lot more about Ben Franklin!
Good but not great walking tour
It was a good historical walking tour, but I felt there must be other interesting places to see and learn about in Philadelphia. Maybe a smaller group would have allowed more back-and-forth questions about historically significant buildings we were walking past. The tour guide seemed knowledgeable, if not overly-rehearsed, but he walked up carrying a greasy take out box and wiping his hands on his clothes. It was a little off putting to kick off the tour. I realize he probably had to get something to eat between tours.
Good overall for sites' OUTSIDEs
Independence Hall entrance tickets should have been included. That should have been the highlight and center of the tour
