Itinerary
Our half-day Cruise & Lunch showcases the best of Australia’s southernmost district. Cruising every Sunday, experience the produce, seafood and landscapes that shape this incredible region. Depart the Hobart waterfront at 10:30am and enjoy a leisurely 1/1.5 hr cruise along the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. You’ll learn about the region’s history, landmarks and buildings, whilst taking in spectacular scenery. Spot iconic wildlife, from seals to sea eagles and perhaps even dolphins or whales. Upon arriving in Woodbridge, take a stroll through our grounds before your degustation lunch, featuring fresh, seasonal produce. Using ingredients from the globally renowned Huon Valley, Bruny Island waters and what we’re growing in our garden. After a long lunch, punctuated by local wines, craft beers and a couple of small surprises, you’ll return to our luxury catamaran to cruise back to Hobart in quiet comfort, maybe indulging in a Tasmanian whisky or digestif before returning ashore at 4pm.

The Peppermint Bay cruise was a lovely, relaxing day out. The staff on the boat were excellent & the lunch was very good. We would highly recommend this cruise for a great day out.
Great Experience
We have done the Peppermint Bay experience before and could not to get back to Hobart to do it again. The first time was great this time was better, the crew and Captain do a magnificent job with friendly service backed up by excellent food and good quality wines. We will be back again, thanks team you go above and beyond.
Peppermint Bay Cruise & lunch makes for a perfect day
A cruise along the Derwent River past Hobart's southern suburbs onto the channel with great views of Bruny Island with a great views and a couple of cheeky glasses of 🥂 you arrive at Peppermint Bay restaurant and treated to some amazing food made with local produce. The staff are superb. We could not recommend it more highly
Ordinary food, excellent boat ride.
The journey was OK but although speakers were fitted everywhere the captains comentary could not be heard mostly. The food was not particularly good, very small portions and not that nice, money spent on this trip could be better spent elsewhere.

Hi team, We are very happy to provide feedback about our experience. We absolutely loved our lunch, every component of each course was delicious! We especially enjoyed the broccoli salad and the lamb. I'm going to attempt the salad at home, it will be a favourite to share with the family. We would also like to congratulate Zoe on her excellent service and friendliness. Such a pleasure to meet someone so lovely! The cruise was wonderful too, in all, we were very well looked after with a perfectly organized trip and lunch. Very professional and highly recommended.
