Pearl Harbor History Remembered Tour from Ko Olina

The Pearl Harbor History Remembered Tour from Ko Olina was very good. Pick up at our Marriott Ko Olina was excellent and timely. Our guide Aaron was very kind and amusing. The tour of the USS Arizona was extremely moving and somber (like visiting the 9/11 Memorial). Then a quick ride over to the USS Missouri. Again, very informative. However, my only criticism would be that we would have preferred more time allotted at the USS Arizona site vs at the Missouri site. Overall, an amazing history lesson.

Do NOT recommend

This tour was NOT worth the money. Our tour guide was very unprofessional and not meant to lead a group. His speech was mumbled and fast, very unclear, and his instructions were also extremely unclear. The drive around the city was useless, as we barely had time to see anything as he drove on past. Didn’t even have time for quick pictures of buildings we passed. Punchbowl was disappointing, as we could only drive through (tours can’t get out). At Pearl Harbor we barely had time to see the movie before getting on the boat to the Arizona, then had to leave immediately. We saw nothing else there. The time at the Missouri was too long. Do NOT go with this company. You’re better off to go on your own and take your time.
