Paris is a big city packed with incredible attractions, but with careful planning and pre-reserved access, you can see the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and more all in a single, unforgettable day. That's where we come in.

You'll meet your local guide first thing in the morning to start your complete Paris in a day tour at the base of Montmartre hill. Hop on the funicular for the short ride to the top to see the Sacré Coeur Basilica and stunning views of Paris. For the morning, you'll explore the Basilica and the neighborhood of Montmartre; seeing its most atmospheric squares and streets, along with one of the iconic windmills and Montmartre vineyard. As you stroll, you'll learn about the artists and writers who called these cobblestoned lanes home and see the bars where Picasso used to party. Then your guide will take you to a charming French cafe, allowing you to pause and enjoy a coffee and croissant (not included in price) before your Paris in a Day tour continues. 

Next, hop on the metro with your guide for a short ride to the Louvre Museum. With pre-reserved tickets, you'll head right inside for a 1.5 hour guided tour of the world's largest and most visited art museum. You'll see all the highlights: including paintings by the French Romantics, sculptures by Michelangelo and Antonio Canova, and jaw-dropping statues from Antiquity like the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Of course you can't go to the Louvre without seeing the Mona Lisa, and with insights from your expert guide, you'll have a deeper appreciate for this masterpiece. 

If you select the Tuesday tour, due to the Louvre being closed, you'll visit the Orsay Museum instead. Your guide will take you on a in-depth tour of the world's largest Impressionist art collections. You'll see Vincent Van Gogh's "Self-Portrait" and Claude Monet's "Woman with a Parasol" as your guide reveals the events and personal stories that inspired them. After a captivating visiting some of the world's most impressive art up close,  we'll break for lunch. While lunch is not included, your guide will give you recommendations for every taste and budget.   

Following lunch, your Paris in a Day tour reconvenes with a stroll through Ile de la Cité, where the City of Light started and eventually grew from a Roman outpost into the most populous and prosperous city in Europe. Above it rises Notre Dame. Severely damaged by a recent fire, she still stands proudly in the heart of the city; testament to the genius of its design and the endurance of France. Your guide will bring you as close as the ongoing restoration will permit in order to give you the best views possible. You'll also walk past the La Conciergerie, the prison where Marie Antoinette was kept before she was beheaded; Place Dauphine, possibly the prettiest square in Paris; and the gorgeous Pont Neuf bridge. You'll cross the river once again for a brief stroll through the Latin Quarter, known for its restaurants and artsy bookstores. You'll pass one of the neighborhood's most well-known independent bookstore, Shakespeare and Company.

Pop into the nearby Metro station with your guide for another short ride. Your tour ends near the Eiffel Tower and you'll be able to snap a few pictures of this iconic monument. If you're interested in climbing to the top, your guide will show you where to purchase tickets on your own. Before parting ways with your guide, they will give you a ticket to a enjoy relaxing river cruise with views of iconic buildings like Grand Palais, Les Invalides (Napoleon's final resting place), Paris' city hall Hotel de Ville, and numerous beautiful bridges along the way. Cancellations received greater than 24 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive or arrives after tour departure.
