Full description

Most first-time visits to Paris turn into a logistics puzzle: which sites, which tickets, how much walking, how not to get lost. This tour solves it in one guided morning. See the Eiffel Tower, walk the medieval streets of Île de la Cité, and finish with entry to the Louvre already arranged, so you're inside exploring instead of standing in line. Built for guests visiting Paris for the first time, with every ticket and transit connection sorted in advance.

Trocadéro Gardens & the Eiffel Tower

Your guide meets you at the Trocadéro Gardens, near the Statue of Benjamin Franklin, before walking toward the Seine and crossing the Pont d'Iéna. Ahead, the Eiffel Tower rises directly into view, framed by the river below. Your guide shares the story of the 1889 Universal Exposition that built it, along with the years it spent nearly being torn down, before you stop for photos at a few of the best angles nearby. It's the kind of first look at Paris that photos never quite capture.

Île de la Cité

From there, you'll take the Metro across the city to Île de la Cité, the small island at the heart of medieval Paris. Your guide walks you past the exterior of Notre-Dame, the Gothic facade of Sainte-Chapelle, and La Conciergerie, once a royal palace and later a Revolutionary prison. The walk continues through the winding lanes of the Latin Quarter, bringing the kings, revolutionaries, and legends your guide describes a little closer to the ground you're standing on. It's a side of Paris most first-day visitors never find on their own.

The Louvre

The tour's final stretch brings you to the Louvre, once a royal palace and now the world's most visited museum. Enjoy a 90-minute tour, accompanied by stories from your expert guide. Learn why a modern glass pyramid sits in its historic courtyard, and how the building itself became part of the collection. Step inside with your entry already arranged, so there's no general admission line to wait in, and see great works like the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and more. *Please note: The Louvre is closed on Tuesdays. On these dates, the tour visits the Orsay Museum. The Orsay Museum is home to the largest collection of Impressionist paintings, including famous works by Van Gogh, Monet, and more.

Please note:

Louvre Museum entry (€28 per person) is included in this tour's price. If you visit on Tuesday, the Orsay Museum ticket is included.

Visitors under 18 and EEA residents under 26 can visit the Louvre free of charge with valid ID and proof of residency, outside of a group tour.
