Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kusadasi early in the morning with a Mercedes Vito minibus. You will reach the destination at dawn because the sky has the most beautiful colors at sunrise. The drive from Kusadasi to Pamukkale will take around 3 hours.
Our crew will give you more information about your balloon ride before you climb into the basket. You will take some beautiful pictures while our grew is making the balloons ready for the flight.
Every day is a good day to fly in a hot air balloon as long as the weather allows it! Balloon rides are safe, and our licensed operators have years of experience in flying hot air balloons. It is still dark, and you’re together with your friends or family and waiting to have an experience you will never forget. Watch the crew fill up the balloon with air until it’s completely inflated. After everybody has found a comfortable place in the basket, your pilot will blast the burner flame so that the balloon lifts off the ground. You’ll fly through the sky where it’s completely silent and enjoy a unique sense of freedom.
After our traditional champagne toast, we still have a few hours left for sightseeing in Pamukkale. You can swim in the pools of mineral water or visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Your driver could also drive you back to your hotel in Kusadasi straight after the balloon ride.
After our visit to Pamukkale, we will have an open buffet lunch in a popular restaurant near Pamukkale
At the end of the day, we will drive back to Kusadasi. The driving time is a round 3 hours again.

Traveler reviews
Great must to once in your lifetime!
It was an amazing experience. The texting with the touroperator was a bit difficult, since he didn't understand what we were asking. In the end we hired a car (cost 45 euros with full insurance) and drove around 2 am to pamukkala. There is a free parking where they can pick up up. We booked through excursion mania and only cost us 50 euro each and we got a 5% discount for the first booking. We paid 20 euros for all the picture and video footage, which we got a transfer link for. We would definitely recommend even for a person with anxiety for heights.
Balloon ride over Pamukkale...traveled from Kusadasi solo traveler all arranged by Can from Excursion Mania. What an ad
Trip of a lifetime. What an experience exhilarating and all thanks to Can at Excursion Mania. He arranged for me to be picked up at 2 am and transported to Pamukkale in time for sunrise. Once the balloon lifted off the ground ..we just floated about as the sky treated us to a wonderful show of colours and hues. From the team that got everyone into the balloon, the pilot,Mustafa who chauffeured me there and back, and Can who organized it all in a few hours...a very big Thank You. They were all fantastic
