PADI Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course has three main phases: •  The first is the knowledge development process, which you'll complete online at your own pace, with our tutors supporting you in case you need any clarification. We cover everything you need to know about basic diving techniques, terminology, and safety procedures. •  The second module is confined water dives (5 modules). These are training sessions conducted in a pool or pool-like waters. You'll have the opportunity to get used to the equipment you'll be using and practice basic diving skills and safety techniques. •  The third is open water dives (four in Cabo de Gata National Park). This is our main objective: to make your first dives in the ocean safely and enjoyably. During the four dives, you'll develop various underwater and surface skills to ensure you have the safety skills and competencies required for scuba diving. 
  As soon as your instructor approves your open water training dives, you'll earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification! This means you'll be able to rent scuba gear and dive anywhere in the world to depths of up to 18 meters for life.
