Full description

The PADI Open Water Diver course comprises theory, Confined Water training and 4 Open Water dives.

In this course the theory is completed using PADI eLearning, normally before your holiday begins. Basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving will be explained with video demonstrations. You will complete online tests but your Instructor will go through a revision of this at the start of the course, and will be reinforcing the learning throughout the practical training.

Once at the dive centre you will be shown equipment set-up and begin your Confined Water training in the pool next to the dive centre. 

On days 2 and 3 of the course you will be making 4 Open Water dives, repeating the skills practised in the Confined Water training.  We start the Open Water diving from the shore with an easy entry from a gently sloping sandy beach. On the last day you will be ready for your final 2 Open Water dives which we make from our boat.  

By the end of dive 4 you will be a PADI Open Water Diver, certified to dive around the world to a recommended maximum depth of 18 metres. Your Instructor will complete your logbook with you, with details of your first 4 dives, and we will process your certification electronically. The adventure has begun!

A guia Mariana foi muito simpática e instrutiva. O tour passa pelos principais pontos relevantes do centro de San José. A comida servida no final do tour é o ponto alto. Poderiam cobrar um pouco menos para termos um melhor custo benefício aqui. Mesmo assim vale a pena, pois andar por conta própria no centro de San José pode ser perigoso.

Very informative, my guide was very kind and helpful, she was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. And even thought it was just me and her she made it very memorable in so many ways, food and drinks were amazing 10/10 would do this tour again!
