Itinerary
We make our first stop at Midhope Castle, aka Lallybroch - home to Jamie Fraser.
We then visit Doune Castle, one of Scotland’s best preserved medieval castles and used as the setting for Castle Leoch in Outlander. You’ll have time to explore this historic stronghold.
Our journey takes us on to the Kingdom of Fife, an area of great historical importance and the ancestral home of Scottish monarchs. We make a stop at Culross, where Claire was accused of witchcraft in the village of ‘Cranesmuir’. This charming village is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th century burgh in Scotland today.
After lunch we will continue to the village of Falkland, used for filming 1940’s Inverness. With over 28 listed buildings it gives a good representation of this period.
Our final stop is at Blackness Castle, the 15th century fortress use to represent Fort William in the show.

AWESOME TRIP!!!! 5 stars isn’t enough.
Fiona was AMAZING. The trip was great. She shared interesting insights about the sites we passed and places we visited. She was even kind enough to assist with a second proposal to my wife prior to our vow renewal ceremony. I would highly recommend this trip and guide.

We had the pleasure of spending the day on the Outlander locations tour with our driver Cliff and our guide Fionns, and they were the perfect duo! Their knowledge, professionalism, and sense of humor made the entire experience unforgettable. The tour was wonderful from beginning to end. The scenery, the stories behind each location, and the attention to detail truly brought the Outlander world to life. Cliff made the journey smooth and comfortable, while Fionns shared fascinating history and fun facts that kept us engaged all day.
