It’s not hard to find good food in Florence, but if you really want to eat as the Florentines do, you need to come along with a local expert foodie to visit beloved wine bars, restaurants, and more for a culinary experience that introduces you to the very best of the city. Pop in and out of beloved local establishments most tourists don't find in two authentic Florence neighborhoods, Oltrarno and Santo Spirito. Enjoy regional wines and a traditional aperitivo with cheese, cold cuts, and bruschette.
After this little warm-up, you’ll head to a beloved local spot to learn how to make a Negroni—Florence’s most iconic cocktail. You’ll mix it up like a pro, then enjoy your handcrafted drink alongside an aperitivo of freshly baked schiacciata.
Visit an ancient wine window for another glass and learn the fascinating history behind them. Sit down at a trattoria for Tuscan pasta and Florentine steak, and then top it all off with artisan Italian gelato, of course! At the end of the evening before parting ways with your guide, they'll share their local tips on where to dine during the rest of your trip.
Stop At: Caffè Notte Description: You’ll start at a tiny corner bar on a quiet street in the Oltrarno neighborhood. It’s here where you’ll get a crash course in Tuscan cuisine in the form of regional cheese, cold cuts, bruschette, and Chianti Classico wine. Admission: Included Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Babae Description: From there, you’ll make a quick stop at one of Florence’s famous wine windows to sip a glass of Prosecco. Admission: Included Duration: 15 minutes

You'll take a quick stroll to one of the city's most beloved gelaterias for a cup or a cone of your favorite flavor, made with organic regional ingredients. Admission: Included Duration: 10 minutes

Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone.
