In the morning, we will come and pick you up at your centrally located accommodation in Strasbourg. On this half day tour from Strasbourg, reach the village of Obernai. After the visit of the village, we will drive through the alsace wine route that is lined with small towns and villages and stop at Mont Saint Odile. Here, enjoy panoramic views of the Alsace Plain and you will have time to explore the site on your own.
On this half day Alsace private tour leaving Strasbourg, discover the small village of Obernai, certainly one of the most beautiful of Alsace with its little winding streets, old houses, ensigns and ramparts. Enjoy a guided tour of the town and some time for personal discovery. If you wish, it is also possible to organise a wine tasting session in the are.
Then reach Mount Saint Odile, a sacred place dedicated to the patron saint of Alsace that still attracts many pilgrims. The site is serene and the view on the Alsace plain is unbelievable. Follow your guide as you visit the monastery and then enjoy some free time for personal discovery. After the visit, we will head back to Strasbourg and that will be the end of our services.
We can also provide this day trip as a full day tour and include the visit of the Château du Haut Koenigsbourg castle as well. This ancient castle rebuilt by Wilhelm II is a highlight of the area. Another option is to take an Alsace Wine Route tour that would include visits, wine tastings and outdoor activities.

Pascal was, above all, a smiling whirlwind of energy from the very start — bursting with knowledge, passion, and just the right amount of dramatic flair. He painted the horror of the Omaha Beach invasion so vividly that we could practically hear the chaos, then marched us through the bunkers at Pointe du Hoc like we were on a mission ourselves. Our Normandy D-Day tour was well worth it and we so enjoyed our tour guide Matt. He made the tour engaging, entertaining and informative. The tour was just the right size and a half day was perfect for us. It would have been much harder to get around to the sites and understand each without the information that Matt was constantly sharing. There was hardly a time that Matt was not telling us what/how/when of what we were looking at. Thanks Matt!
