Itinerary
Pass by: Typically, visitors have to choose between experiencing the Canadian or US side of Niagara Falls, but never both. There is just so much to do that it seems impossible to do both, but that has all changed with the USA/Canada Niagara Falls Combo Tour. Now, it is easier than ever before to see and experience both sides of this amazing and majestic natural wonder. The full-day tour kicks off with a pick up from your hotel on the Canadian or American side of the Falls.
Experiencing Goat Island in Niagara Falls, NY, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and close-up views of the iconic waterfalls. On Luna Island, you can feel the mist from both the American and Bridal Veil Falls, while Terrapin Point provides a breathtaking view of the powerful Horseshoe Falls, making it a memorable spot for nature lovers.
Viewing the falls from Luna Island provides a unique and intimate experience, as you stand between the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. The proximity to the edge lets you feel the mist and hear the thundering rush of water, offering a close-up and dramatic perspective of these natural wonders.
The American Falls in Niagara Falls is a majestic sight, characterized by its broad, cascading waters that plunge over a rocky ledge. Although smaller than the Horseshoe Falls, its dramatic drop and the scattered boulders at its base create a powerful, picturesque scene that highlights the raw beauty of nature.
Pass by: The Bridal Veil Falls in Niagara is the smallest of the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls, yet it offers a delicate and enchanting beauty. Located next to the American Falls, this slender cascade is named for its resemblance to a bride's veil. Visitors can experience the falls up close on Luna Island or from the Cave of the Winds, where the mist and gentle flow create a serene and intimate atmosphere amidst the powerful Niagara River.
Viewing Niagara Falls from Terrapin Point offers a spectacular close-up perspective of the Horseshoe Falls, where you can witness the immense power of the water as it cascades over the edge. The vantage point allows you to feel the mist and hear the roar of the falls, creating an awe-inspiring and immersive experience.
The Cave of the Winds in Niagara Falls is an exhilarating attraction that takes you up close to the powerful Bridal Veil Falls. As you descend into the Niagara Gorge and walk along wooden platforms, you can feel the force of the rushing water and the cool mist on your skin. The highlight is the "Hurricane Deck," where you're just feet away from the torrents of water, offering an unforgettable and immersive experience of the falls' raw power.
Pass by: Crossing the border at the Rainbow Bridge between the United States and Canada offers a seamless and scenic transition between the two countries. This pedestrian and vehicular bridge provides stunning views of Niagara Falls as you travel between Niagara Falls, New York, and Niagara Falls, Ontario. The border crossing is typically straightforward, but it's important to have the necessary identification, such as a passport or enhanced driver's license, ready for inspection by customs officials on both sides.
Experiencing the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls offers a stunning panoramic view of both the American and Canadian falls from 775 feet above the ground.
A guided tour along the Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls, Canada, is a scenic journey through one of the most picturesque routes in the region. The tour offers insightful commentary on the area's history, culture, and natural beauty, making it an enriching way to experience the Niagara region.
Pass by: Dufferin Islands, located just upstream from the Horseshoe Falls, is a serene nature area with a series of small islands connected by footbridges and walking trails. This peaceful retreat offers a stark contrast to the nearby falls, with tranquil waters, lush greenery, and an abundance of wildlife. The Upper Niagara Falls Rapids, located just before the falls, showcase the river's immense power as it surges towards the edge, creating a dramatic and thrilling sight that highlights the raw force of nature in this iconic location.
The journey continues with a scenic drive along the picturesque Niagara Parkway. This route offers stunning views of the Niagara River and includes a stop at Table Rock, where you´ll stand at the brink of the Falls for a close-up view of the water´s powerful plunge into the river below.
(Operational from May till November and will be replaced by Journey Behind the Falls from December till April) The Niagara City Cruise offers an unforgettable experience of Niagara Falls, taking you up close to the base of the iconic waterfalls. Traveler reviews
Phenomenal way to experience everything about Niagara Falls
Fabulous tour. Best of the best. Nice small group so really personal attention and you get to see the falls every way possible. The US side, the Canadian side, from below the falls both on foot and by boat and from the Skylon tower. Also visit other parts of the falls such as the whirlpool and the Goat island. Stephanie was a wonderful tour guide who was full of information and interesting stories. Really made it a special day even though the weather was a bit rainy at first.
The Falls
Amid was a great guide! We learned a lot about the sites and history. All of our stops were breathtaking. We would have had trouble getting to everything we saw on our own.
