- A moderate amount of walking is involved. This tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
- Maid of the Mist Boat Cruise operates on an eco-friendly electric boat from May – October – but is subject to closure based upon the weather.
- If you choose to include the Maid of the Mist Boat Tour, you should plan to take the boat either earlier in the day or on the next day.
- Fireworks are seasonal and weather-dependent. They typically happen nightly late May – Early October (10pm start) and then Mid-November – Early January (8pm start – only Friday and Saturday until Christmas week, and then daily until the 1st Sunday in January), lasting about 5 minutes.

The worst experience and highly disappointed!
Extremely disappointing experience. The tour company failed to communicate properly, and the guide never reached out to us before the tour and never met us at the pickup point where we arrived 30mins early and stayed for an hour trying to reach tour guide. We also tried calling the contact number provided so many times, but no one answered the call. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the experience we had planned and looked forward to. We spent significant time and effort trying to make the tour happen, but the lack of coordination and support from the company made the entire experience frustrating and super stressful. What should have been a memorable occasion, especially on a special day July 4th once a year, turned into a major disappointment. We traveled from Seattle & California to experience this once a year trip just to get disappointed with all the flights, travel and effort which we put into the trip has gone waste. Better communication and customer support are the minimum customers should expect when booking a tour. I definitely won’t recommend this tour based on my experience.
Be Prepared. Parking Issues and picking a Holiday made it a lot harder to enjoy.
My experience was unfortunate. We arrived early and all parking was full at 1230 pm. We had a very long walk. over 2 miles because the only parking was metered so we had to pay $50 kept adding to the meter on an app. So much walking and i use a cane. I am disabled. The line for Maid of the Mist boat was an hour and half wait and they had us walk thru a maze to keep orderly so no sitting there. My apple watch said I walked 12,910 steps/ 5-6 miles. By the time we sat down at Hard Rock Cafe my legs were done. There was no way to do a walking tour so I messages the tour guide to cancel. It was too late for refunds. The public had free access to certain areas but we were only able to view the fireworks. Viator is a great app. The walking and parking issue was what put a damper on things. I enjoyed seeing Niagara Falls. I will use Viator again as I have done in the past. Thank you!

My guide was awesome. Beautiful time and lots of information. He took the time to show me Beautiful things along the walk.
Never show up
I never got the guide person he never show up. I called customer service and they said is not available for that day
Bad experience
Really bad experience the tour guide never showed up and I was there like 30 min before the timing of the tour. I called the number that was in my ticket and the person in customer service didn’t know English and didn’t know what I was talking. I hope they refund me back as I didn’t get any tour and no one showed up.
