Fantastic Tour!!
Jay was a fabulous tour guide. She was knowledgeable, funny, and full of wonderful stories and terrific facts. This is well worth the time. LOTS of walking, though, so be prepared. Unbelievable experience!
New York history with a retired 911 hero cop
The cashew “meatballs” were unbelievable. As a vegetarian, they were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Our tour guide Ray was also absolutely delightful and fun. She took the time to answer every question and did such a great job weaving together both the history and the modern-day context of New York. Unfortunately, we (personally not the whole tour) couldn’t finish the entire tour because the rain became so heavy, but even with the weather, this was still one of those fantastic quintessential Central New York experiences that I would absolutely recommend and consider a must-do tour.
Fabulous New York Tour
We had a fabulous experience! The dinner at John’s was a delicious, authentic spaghetti dinner. Jay shared so many personal experiences, knowledge and history of New York, NYPD and the Mafia. We finished up with a tasty cannoli at Rosie’s. Thank-you Jay!
Great history, stories, sights and food!
Loved loved this tour with Jay! There was so much history along with all the stories about the Mafia. I'm writing this as we sit in Cafe Roma eating the best cannoli I have ever had at the end of our tour! What a way to end this great tour. Thank you Jay! I would do this tour again! She is retired from the NYPD so great stories. ONGosh! I forgot to mention we started at John's Restaurant for a great dinner of meatballs and spaghetti! It has been there since 1908!
Mafia Tour
Jay was so knowledgeable on the history of the Mafia and the local police and could tell the stories so articulately with genuine passion because of her career as an NYPD. The food at Johns was the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve had in New York and comparable to my favourite place in Italy. Thoroughly enjoyable tour, thank you Jay!!!!
