Traveler reviews
Tour
Complete waste of money. This tour was incredibly disappointing and nothing like it was advertised. The guide rushed through everything, repeated stories that you could easily find with a quick Google search, and there was nothing remotely creepy or immersive about the experience. It felt like we were just walking from one stop to another listening to a rehearsed script. If you’re expecting a fun, spooky, or memorable ghost tour in New Orleans, save your money. There was no atmosphere, no effort to engage the group, and the stories lacked detail and excitement. New Orleans has such a rich history, but this tour failed to bring any of it to life. I left feeling like I had completely wasted my time and money. There are far better ways to spend an evening in New Orleans.
Ghost Tour with Orion Couling
We had a great time with Orion Couling as our guide. He was one of be best guides we’ve ever been with. Has a deep passion for New Orleans and it’s dark past.
Haunted night tour
Had a great time! Orion has an ability to capture his audience with his story telling! He is very knowledgeable and he shares it with all of us. He was also very mindful of the children passing by ( love the mule-licorn story)
Fun tour for the whole family!
This was a great tour for the whole family! Orion was an excellent tour guide. He kept the content age appropriate for my 9 year olds but still interesting for the older kids and adults. He shared a lot of information and facts that we didn’t know. We highly recommend this tour and guide!
OK tour, but not as expected
The guy was passionate giving his tour, but didnt really follow the tour name. Don't remember his name. I was a bit disappointed. He was very knowledgeable on history founding new orleans, history of building materials of structures and why, along with other things unrelated to tour name--"voodoo, vampires and ghost". We did learn history of Voodoo, one vampire story, and nothing related to ghosts. He prefaced the tour is a bit different with each guide. It ran 2 hours and during the last 30min people were just dropping out of the tour- it was dark in the quarter so easy to do. By the end, I think there were 7 people and started with around 20. We stayed until the end and tipped him, but he didn't get much in way of tips. Felt bad.
