Itinerary
Meet your guide in the French Quarter to dive right into this fascinating and entertaining tour. Follow your guide into the dark alleys and secret courtyards of New Orleans for the thrill tour like no other. This is a 'gumbo' tour, giving you a chance to sample macabre stories of ghosts, vampires, witches, Voodoo, and unsolved mysteries derived from police archives, city records, and research. Hear the tales of unsolved murders and crimes of passion that left their ghostly imprints in our history. Follow the footsteps of a mysterious serial killer many believe was something other than human. Find out why things aren’t always what they appear to be in the hidden corners of the French Quarter. Perfect for those who only have time for 1 tour and want a little taste of everything.
Jackson Square takes on a completely different persona after dark. See one of the most iconic landmarks in America when the shadows and spirits come out to roam.
Pass by: The party never ends on Bourbon Street. As you hunt for vampires and spirits cross the biggest block party in the world. Take in the essence of the famous of all streets, Bourbon Street.
During the day, Royal Street is a busy avenue for art galleries, antiques, and retail shopping. But after dark, it comes alive with the spirits of the past to tell the stories of lost loves, betrayals, Voodoo spells, Witch's curses, vampires, and murder. Everything looks different at night on Royal Street.
Pass by: See the side alley where pirates sold their stolen goods that is located right next to a church. They say that late at night one can still hear the sounds of this very haunted location. Some have seen pirates' ghosts wandering in the wee hours of the morning.

Haunted History Walking Ghost Tour
Bob was absolutely wonderful!! We learned so much and his jokes were joyful additions. It was well worth the small price tag to explore the French quarter and the surrounding areas, with history lessons and horror stories based on real events. The tour was a total of about 2 hours which was perfect. Two of us had never been to NOLA or taken ghost tours and one of us has been a few times and taken 2 tours, and she also agreed this one was great. Do it, and hope you get Bob!
True crime tour
Thor was AMAZING very funny and knowledgeable! definitely recommend it 100%. learned a lot!
Historical walking tour
Thorn was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the city and its rich history. He was able to provide us with a behind the scenes historical tour that showed us the rich culture and history that founded New Orleans and made it into the city that it is today.
Voted least likely to recommend
I’ve been on many walking/ghost/history tours in multiple cities around the country with my family, mostly booked with TripAdvisor. This tour sounded interesting and seemed to offer a wide array of topics. Now to begin and be fair, we did arrive 2 minutes late (our transportation was caught up due to emergency vehicles), the tour guide was aware that we would be arriving 3 minutes late (we made up 1 minute by running), but he did leave us behind. The tour company did catch us up to the group and we headed out on our tour. The group consisted of about 20 */- ppl, so it was a nice sized tour. We moved from place to place at break neck speed, at times I felt as tho we were chasing our guide. Once we arrived at our stop he would do a head count, move on to his story, speaking very fast, then ending with “does anyone have any questions”, in which only once did someone ask a question then we were running off to the next location. Now a lot of these locales are near or off of Boubon St. so it’s very loud which makes it even harder to hear the story that the guide is running thru at super speed. There were a few interesting stories, but some I found extremely far fetched, and there were a lot of stops that were just related to movie and/or tv show filming, which, if your not familiar with the shows/films you wouldn’t know and/or care about. We did take a break at a local bar for drinks and bathroom (nice since no one lets you use the restroom in New Orleans), but the break ran over by 6 minutes (which was interesting considering he couldn’t wait 3 min for us to arrive when we were held up by an ambulance). All and all I would not recommend this tour for anyone who is not able to speed walk, has any hearing impairment or is not familiar with The Originals or Vampire Diaries. Our guide was nice, polite and did try to entertain with jokes, that got a chuckle or two, and he did know his history of New Orleans. Of all the walking tours I’ve done this one will most likely remain at the bottom of my list.
Thank you Chase!
Chase was an amazing guide! Super friendly and funny. Loved the tour would definitely recommend!
