Great experience (Allergies Must Read)
Everything was amazing. Loved Nate's personality, he was a great host that knew his stuff. I appreciated that everyone within group got to know each other. The food was delicious and we appreciated the tours of getting to know the area. We actually returned to the House of Bourbon with a group of 16 because of this tour. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because my wife whose allergic to shellfish couldn't eat some of the things. It would be great if there were substitutions for people with allergies or in her case please let people know in advance that you can't provide these options without waiting until people arrive. Other than that I would say it would've been a five. Ultimately people with allergies want to eat as well.
A Fantastic Food Tour with an Amazing Guide
We had an amazing time on this food tour! Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and very accommodating. Since none of us drank beer, he was happy to switch our beer tasting to cocktails, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food we tried was delicious, and every stop offered something unique. Overall, it was a great way to experience the local food scene. My only suggestion would be to include a few more food stops or add more street food bites. At around $150 per person, I think a little more variety would make the experience even better. A dessert stop would also have been a wonderful addition. We ended up visiting three places instead of four, but that was partly on us—we got caught up watching the Colombia vs. Argentina football match! 😂 Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour. Great guide, great food, and a fun experience that's well worth doing when you're in Monterrey!

The Monteleon Hotel was very nice. Room was very comfortable. Loved the Carosel Bar. Dinner at the Italian Barrel was very good. Enjoyed our walk through the quarter in the morning. St Louis Cathedral Jackson Square and Central Grocery. Sazaraq House was interesting
