Vesuvius eruption in 79 A.D.

Pass by: Walking through the fascinating Piazza del Gesù and see the Church of Gesù Nuovo. The church of Gesu' Nuovo is an exquisite example of the Baroque, from the unique façade faced with diamond-shaped ashlars to the marvellous interiors in marble.
Located just off Piazza del Gesù on the western end of Centro Storico, Santa Chiara is one of the most beautiful and beloved churches in Naples. Set in a walled, citadel like complex, the church is rare example of the city’s austere Gothic history and a pleasant contrast to the countless churches that were highly ornamented during the Baroque era.
Spaccanapoli is the straight and narrow main street that traverses the old, historic center of the city of Naples, Italy. The name is a popular usage and means, literally, "Naples splitter". The name is derived from the fact that it is very long and from above it seems to divide that part of the city.
Pass through the narrow via dei Tribunali to see Naples at its most characteristic.
Walk through the street called San Gregorio Armeno, the famous street of the nativity scenes
Pass by: Panoramic tour by car

Traveler reviews
Good tour without any hassles
Mario was a very knowledgeable guide. He took very good care of everyone. There was no pressure to walk quickly up Mount Vessuvius so we had plenty of stops and time to admire the views and learn about the geology of the area. Well worth it.
Wonderful trip and thank you Askos!
It was our family’s first time traveling to Italy, and we used Askos Tours. Our guide, Francesco Calenda, was extremely experienced, very kind, talkative, and friendly. He explained every site we visited very clearly and was always punctual for our scheduled times. He also recommended some delicious local food for us to try. We are very grateful to have him as our tour guide and now have a much better understanding of Naples. We also strolled through the beautiful town of Sorrento and explored the ancient ruins of Pompeii — it was stunning! We hope to have the chance to visit other parts of Italy in the future and would definitely choose Askos Tours again as our guide. Once again, thanks to Francesco for giving us such a wonderful and memorable experience.
Great Day on The Amalfi Coast with Sorrento and Pompeii
Giovanni was great. He was right on time with a clear sign at the designated meeting spot. He spoke a little more English than we could Italian but with google translate we made due and had a great day with him. He drove us up to the Amlafi Coast and Positano with a few stops along the way for photo ops. Then we went to Sorrento where we had an hour to walk around and enjoy the magic of this place. Finally, he drove us through the area of Pompeii where he took us to an amazing little Napoli Pizza place that was grab and go but delicious. We had a skip the line ticket to the Archeological Site of Pompeii and two hours to see a little of that amazing ancient city. It was a great day. Highly recommend Askos Tours and Giovanni.
Transportation from Napoli Airport to Amalfi Coast
When planning our trip to the Amalfi coast I checked out multiple companies for transportation from the Airport in Napoli to Sorrento. Transferelax answered promptly and did not charge us a nightly surcharge. Originally there were four of us and the charge from the airport to Sorrento was 100 Euros. We made the reservation and as our trip approached I contacted them to confirm our reservation and inform them the other couple would not be coming. They confirmed the reservation and reduced the price to 85 Euros. Giuseppe picked us up at the airport in a Mercedes Van and our trip to Sorrento was so easy. Giuseppe had relatives on the East Coast of the US and he chatted about them while giving us a history lesson of the area. We were so happy with the service of Transferelax I contacted them for services from Amalfi to Napoli the night before our departure. Transferelax is a family business and this time Columba picked us up in Amalfi in a Mercedes station wagon and we had another comfortable and enjoyable ride. Cost from Amalfi to our hotel in Napoli was 130 Euros. Highly recommend Transferelax. Thanks Giuseppe and Colomba.
