Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park
During our winter season, (late November to April) Our afternoon tours don’t offer snorkeling. We use that time for whale watching and sunset. Come join us for an amazing 5 hour snorkeling and lunch tour, on the breathtaking NaPali Coast together! This place holds immense historical significance and is home to a variety of sea life, including dolphins. Our Native family-owned co, has been a part of the Waimea community for 200 years, where we depart to the NaPali Coast, our families history is beyond imaginable from history books being the first to sail foreigners on our family's sailing double hulled sailing canoes to NaPali Coast by documented history. We're excited to share our rich history and heritage with you. Sharing their own stories and culture to create a truly memorable experience. Please choose from our four comfortable catamarans, which offer the same fantastic tour experience. Weather permitting, we'll explore multiple sea caves and snorkel in pristine waters.
Waimea Canyon State Park
Also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, this scenic state park overlooks the colorful Waimea Canyon, which stretches over 14 miles and is more than 3,600 feet deep.

Capt. Rob, Ethan and Leroy were wonderful! They made our trip amazing! Only disappointment was when they had to change us to a different boat so we were unable to go inside the caves, but they tried! Would go with them again!
Captain Tim and his crew were awesome. Great history, great driving in the caves, and very service oriented. The swimming off the boat was fantastic. Great day!
We had a great time on the ride with Capt Dave. He made sure everyone was engaged and were very well taken care of. He was a great guide and knowledgeable about every place along the way. We saw a sea turtle and a monk seal as well as a herd of wild goats marching along the beach. We pulled up under a waterfall and nosed into a couple of sea caves that were almost close enough to touch. The views were spectacular! We saw the cliffs that were in the fly in scene at the beginning of the Jurassic Park movie. We got to stop and swim in some calm water on the way back and to dive from the roof of the boat. We did not get to snorkel since the water was too murky from recent storms and the crew was just ensuring our safety. My wife and I got a great selfie with a beautiful rainbow 🌈 in the background. My wife chose Makana Charters beause they are a local family owned business and they did not disappoint. We were on the Liealoha which is one of the smaller 18 person boats and we felt like we got individual attention and were very well cared for from the timewe arriveduntil we were done. Highly recommend Makana charters.
