Itinerary
You will be picked up in your city center hotel, please make sure you will bring your passport with you and show up on time.
You will arrive the Great Wall around 9:00am, then you can spend about 3 hours wandering around Mutianyu Great Wall. You can choose to take the chair lift up and toboggan ride down (at your own cost). It is very exciting to take the toboggan ride back! During lunch break, you will enjoy a local lunch at a restaurant near by Great Wall. After your tour is finished, you will be transferred to the original meeting point (Zhangzizhonglu Subway Station).

An unforgettable time at the Great Wall!
My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) took a private tour with Lisa as our guide and we had an amazing time! Everything was so easy because she took care of everything for us, and she provided a wealth of information on Chinese history, including not just the Great Wall but also about past dynasties and places like the Forbidden City. I highly recommend this tour and Lisa as your guide!
An easy way to the Great Wall
If you can’t read/speak Chinese then this is an easy option to the Great Wall. The guide speaks english, and there is a free lunch after the walk, then drop off at a place of my choice that other people dropped off. For me, it is value for money.
Just a Safe Ride
The tour was nothing more than a safe way to reach the wall, and help with the tickets, and lunch. The tour guide gave an extremely brief summary of the wall in the bus, but did not accompany us to the wall or give further details. Maybe I booked the wrong tour. If you want a safe transportation to the wall and back with some lunch thrown in, then this is the tour to go for.

<p>The van was new and clean and our guide was very friendly, with helpful tips for tourists in Beijing. She did accompany the group up to the wall. Although most of us wandered off at our own pace, she was available for questions and walked a portion of the wall. We felt it was a good amount of time on the wall and the provided lunch was very delicious and filling.</p>
