Dot believe what it says in your reservation for pickup location!

The walk was very easy to the falls and the nature walk to see the 600 year old trees was easy with little effort. The bus was not great. We were the last stop to get on and had to sit where the wheel was. Extremely Extremely uncomfortable. If I had to do over again I would not done the tour because the bus was so uncomfortable. My knees still hurt a day later. I do not like the way this operator picks up. It says in your reservation it is at your hotel and then the day before the tour after you have paid they tell you it is some place else and you cant change. Last in the bus route you have to take whatever seats others dont want and the bus was very small. The bus made this tour less than desirable.

Beware - Do not trust the description of the tour

Simply stated, the tour is not the one advertised. While it says the tour last approximately 8 hours, which is accurate, it does not state that you will spend around 2 hours wasting time on frankly useless activities. We got picked at 9am at a meeting point located 5 minutes from our hotel. While the distance was short,it was not a hotel pickup as advertised. It was not a problem for us but could be for someone with mobility issues. Driver and tour guide welcomed us. He was a positive point throughout the tour. We drove 45 minutes and had our first (unadvertised) stop in a rather destitute suburban town to have “cake and coffee” in a cafe located between a community kitchen, a laundromat and a liquidation shop. We spent 25 minutes in this wonderful place. Then we headed to the salmon pond where we sampled a complimentary maple syrup pancake (the other choice was a cinnamon pancake) and a banana milkshake. We then witnessed feeding of ducks, trouts and salmon for about 30 minutes. We then left for Mt Field where we arrived at 12:15. As a reminder, the description of the tour stated that we would spend 2.5 hours walking in the National park and 30 minutes at the visitor center. In total, we spent 2 hours at Mt Field (and not 3 hours as advertised). The first 50 minutes were spent hiking in beautiful forest paths that are well worth the detour. For the remaining 1 hour 10 minutes, we were left on our own at the visitor center that is comprised of a small shop, a rather expensive restaurant and a few toilets. We would have like more time hiking and less time in the visitor center. We left at 2:15 pm. We then headed to Bonarong Park. The description of the tour stated we would stay 1 hour 10 minutes. We arrived at Bonarong Park at 3:20 pm and were immediately told we needed to leave at 4:15. The park is an amazing place, especially with young children. It is well worth to go, and every minute there is therefore so precious. It was such a huge disappointment to learn that we would spent there 15 minutes less than advertised. In the end, we were able to get an additional 5 minutes to visit the shop and left at 4:20. Still, we did not have time to see everything. We then came back at hotel and were left in front of it at 5 pm sharp. In light of the foregoing, it is hard not to label the tour as false / inaccurate advertisement. We certainly felt deceived. The tour is also way overpriced. I used other tour companies in Hobart which were far from cheap and the value was always there. This is not the case with this tour. My advice - do yourself a favour and avoid this tour at all cost.
