Itinerary
Pass by: Passing through Hobart and South Hobart we point out historic buildings and share interesting history and stories.
Pass by: We then ascend through increasingly good views of Hobart to the summit of Mount Wellington. We see colorful snow gums and subalpine vegetation and wildflowers.
Up here the views only get better, now including some of the mountains of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. We get to take a short walk to the trig point achieving our arrival at the highest point and pausing to take in the breathtaking vista. David will remember the first time he walked from the city all the way up here when he was 18 years old, it took him 5 hours. • Then we get free time to check out and photograph from the Hobart and south West Wilderness viewing platforms. Up close we observe unique Tasmanian alpine vegetation and pillars of rock. At the summit, you will be filled with astonishment, to be launched forth into an ocean of natural goodness where you can see no limits.

Mount Wellington
Great couple of hours out, with small group, despite a full on ,freezing torrential rain storm at the summit. Our guide David was engaging and informative and stopped again half way down where the clouds had cleared and we could get a photo. Sometimes i find it hard to hear and he made sure I was included by getting me up the front. I heard every word. Definitely recommend.
Interesting short tour
Good short tour, knowledge, interesting guide giving you lots of details as you go up the mountain. Only a short trip but worth it. The top was covered in cloud but our guide made sure we got to see the views on the way up and down.
Great value for money....
Great value for money. Very easy walk from the pinnacle and the views were amazing. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and told us heaps of interesting stories and facts about the area
Great trip and lucky with the weather
Had a great trip with David and his daughter exploring Mount Wellington. David provides lots of interesting facts along the way. Explaining the flora and fauna of the mountain. This is a newly established family business so was happy to support the business. David provides 30 minutes at the top of the mountain to capture memories!
