Great way to experience Monument valley
We took the Monument Valley extended backcountry tour with Monument valley tribal tours and our guide Larry. Larry was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide who took us through the backcountry of the Monument Valley landscape. He was friendly and helpful and brought stories and wisdom to our trip. He also sang and played the flute for us at one of the stops which was powerful and moving. The tour made experiencing Monument Valley that much more meaningful and memorable and I wouldn’t think of visiting without a knowledgeable guide like Larry. Highly recommend.
Monument Valley Extended Backcountry Tour.
Larry was our guide, he was fantastic. Provided great history, helped with pictures, answered questions and drove at a great pace trying to make the ride as smooth as possible. Very personable and knowledgeable, quite a good flute player as well. We had an amazing time.

Spectacular landscapes—and you expect that—a friendly, helpful, and very kind guide who gave us a taste of Navajo culture and made us feel welcome. Every euro was well spent!
