Spend a morning exploring Montmartre, Paris' charming village with incredible views of the city, through its food. As you venture through the hills of the 18th arrondissement with a local guide, you'll discover the neighborhood's unique atmosphere and history. Once the home of famous artists like Picasso and van Gogh, you'll see how Montmartre's past as a creative haven lives on in through its bakeries, bistros, and cafes. Try traditional French cuisine like pastries, delicious cheeseboard offerings, escargot and more as you sip on uniquely French wines at 5 eateries loved by both visitors and locals.

Your Montmartre food tour begins at a historic bakery in the heart of this bohemian hilltop village, where you’ll sample either freshly baked croissants and crusty bread or indulge in a chou pastry, a classic of modern French patisserie.

Next, step into a legendary Montmartre bistro that’s been a gathering spot for artists and locals since 1921. Here, you’ll sip chilled white wine and enjoy oeuf mayonnaise, a simple and flavorful dish that reflects the neighborhood's rich culinary tradition and its artistic roots.

As you wander through Montmartre’s picturesque backstreets, your guide will reveal the stories behind its transformation to the creative hub it is today. Along the way, they'll point out the most important sites of the neighborhood, like the Montmartre vineyard and oldest cabaret, and their significance to the French capital.

Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
Those with dietary restrictions need to contact us before joining the tour so we can arrange your food.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts

Cancellations received greater than 24 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after tour departure.
