Itinerary
Guests meet outside the legendary Moulin Rouge, one of the most famous cabarets in the world and a true symbol of Parisian nightlife. Immortalized in the vibrant posters of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the Moulin Rouge became the birthplace of the music hall and the dazzling French Cancan. Since opening in 1889, this iconic venue has captivated audiences from around the world. Legendary performers and global stars—including Édith Piaf, Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra, and Elton John—have all been enchanted by its electric atmosphere. Here, your guide will introduce the fascinating history, colourful characters, and scandalous stories that made the Moulin Rouge one of the most celebrated entertainment venues in Paris.
See where the most famous Crème Brûlée in the world is made, featured in the award-winning French movie "Amélie" (also known as "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain"), the character Amélie eats her iconic crème brûlée at the "Café des 2 Moulins", a real café located in the Montmartre district of Paris, where she works as a waitress throughout the film. Great photo location.
Guest will visit where Pablo Picasso lived in the Bateau-Lavoir, a building in the Montmartre district of Paris, from 1904–1909. The Bateau-Lavoir was a studio complex and meeting place for many artists, including Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, and others.
At the hidden Clos Montmartre, discover one of Paris’s most charming secrets—a working vineyard tucked away on the slopes of Montmartre. Learn how this small vineyard preserves the neighborhood’s rural past, when the hill was once covered in vines and windmills. Hear about the lively annual Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre, a beloved harvest celebration filled with parades, music, and wine. It’s also a perfect spot to capture photos of one of the last remaining vineyards in the city.
At the lively Place du Tertre, step into the artistic heart of Montmartre. This charming square is famous for its open-air artists who set up easels each day, painting portraits, sketches, and colorful scenes of Paris. Surrounded by cafés and historic buildings, the square captures the spirit of the bohemian Montmartre that once attracted legendary artists like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí. Visitors can watch artists at work, browse unique artwork, or simply soak up the vibrant atmosphere of one of the most iconic squares in Paris.
Visit the famous steps of Sacré-Cœur, where one of the most spectacular views in Paris unfolds before you. From this iconic hilltop, gaze out across the city’s rooftops and landmarks while your guide brings the history of Montmartre and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre to life. It’s the perfect moment to pause, take unforgettable photos, and experience the magic of Paris from above.

A must do experience!
What a fantastic tour! Becky and Vic ours guides were both wonderful- so friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Each stop was perfectly timed, and the amount of food served was perfect. It was really plentiful, varied and so delicious. The right amount of history was also shared and was perfect for the audience. I think there were eleven people on the tour spanning a wide age range. The amount of walking too was perfect. This was our third walking tour over our five day visit to Paris and it was without a doubt the best. I’ve been telling everyone about it and how it’s a must do for your visit to Paris!
