Reviews
Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and it was clear that he was passionate about what he does. He brought pictures, EMF readers, and divining rods which I thought was an interesting touch. I liked the fact that this tour wasn’t tied to one neighborhood, and that the time between locations was used for further explanation. I do feel like maybe the Eastland was supposed to have been a stop, but we didn’t get off the bus even though we parked there. The reason this rating is marked down so much is because of the meeting location. The instructions were to meet at the bar at the Congress, but we didn’t know who we were looking for or where in the bar to meet. It would have been helpful if there was a sign or something. The bus also wasn’t marked. A magnetic sign on the bus would have made things easier, too. There was a group who missed the bus and ended up Ubering to our first stop to meet us because of the confusion on where to meet. There needs to be more clear instructions or signage for a bunch of strangers to find each other. I also feel like meeting in the Congress would have made for a good first stop. We started talking about it after we were in the bus and driving to Lincoln Park, but I feel like having that conversation while sitting in the bar or lobby would have been more impactful.
Joanne was great!!!!
Never got to experience the tour. The bus left before the meeting time while my group was waiting inside and went outside only to find another tour. Another group of people were also left behind.
