Our family had an absolutely wonderful day on this Milford Sound tour and cruise. Our guide, Abby, was fantastic — funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely informative throughout the trip. We loved how she wove Māori stories together with historical and scientific facts, making the journey engaging for adults and kids alike. Everything was made easy from the start, with hassle-free hotel pick-up, and the day was well-organized with plenty of food and toilet breaks factored in. Even with a 5 and 8 year old in tow, the whole family enjoyed the full 13-hour round trip without any complaints — a real testament to how well the day was paced. On the water, the skipper was excellent as well, going out of his way to get us close encounters with the local wildlife whenever the opportunity arose. Highly recommend this tour for families looking to experience the magic of Milford Sound — a perfect blend of stunning scenery, culture, and adventure!
Fabulous day out
A long but amazing day. Tour guide was great. We had rain, snow and sunshine all in one day. So, when we got to Milford Sound, we got the best of everything - waterfalls and sunshine.

Lynette our tour guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly, she really made us feel welcome and gave us great information about the areas we were travelling through. The tour was great being a smaller bus and boat that’s what we wanted. We were so lucky to have perfect weather and had the best time.

Had an amazing day trip to Milford Sound with Cheeky Kiwi! Our guide Lynette was fantastic—knowledgeable, funny, and really friendly. She shared so much interesting history along the way and made sure we had plenty of stops to stretch and take photos at all the scenic spots. The tour was well-paced, great value for money, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
