Worth the Extra Bucks!
Danny and Cody were very kind, efficient, engaging and so helpful. Since we chose to go with a smaller group rather than the big buses, we made good time and skipped most of the crowd. We also had more leeway in terms of time management and we were able to make the most of the stops. My suggestion would be maybe direct pickups from hotels because the list was limited. And maybe a tie-up with Fergburger to pick up advance orders upon a return to town and prior to hotel drop-offs. They offer a helicopter ride back to town but I think a beat-the-line-after-a-long-fun-day Fergburger collab is more enticing.
An Absolute Must-Do in New Zealand—Ask for Paul from Cheeky Kiwi!
It was an absolute delight visiting Milford Sound today! The tour was organised perfectly by Cheeky Kiwi Travel from start to finish. Our tour guide, Paul, was incredibly warm, friendly, and informative. His knowledge about the region's history and culture was so impressive and really brought the journey to life. I definitely recommend booking your next trip with them!
A very long day traveling...
A very long day traveling from Queenstown, but there were plenty of stops for photos on the way. We had Martin from Cheeky Kiwi as our guide. He was informative and humourous, which even my 14 and 12yo boys enjoyed. We were told it rains 200 days a year in Milford Sound, and it was no exception for our boat tour. It was a blessing in disguise though, as we had heaps of waterfalls which looked amazing. We got up very close to waterfalls, so I would recommend wearing wet weather gear if you want to be outside and get the full experience. We are definitely glad we went with the smaller coach and smaller boat. There was no fighting for positions to take photos etc.

A big thank you to Paul for such an enjoyable tour! It was a long journey with stunning views, and he kept us entertained with interesting stories about New Zealand, making the time fly by. Water and snacks, picnic lunch were also provided on the bus.

Henry the driver was friendly, helpful and jovial. Lunch was provided which was tasty and fresh. The bus is comfortable and has good temperature control.
