Itinerary
Pass by: Walk inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping gallery, a 19th century glass vaulted shopping arcade. Brimming with fashionable shops and cafes, it is often called the ‘salotto di Milano’ or ‘Milan’s drawing room’ for its importance over the years as a common meeting point for the people of Milan.
Visit the splendid Duomo, one of the world's largest, most striking Gothic cathedrals. Some 135 spires and 3,200 statues are crammed onto the roof and facade of the building.
Enter Milan’s most famous Opera House, the fabulous La Scala theatre. Founded in 1778 and still in use, some of the world’s greatest musicians and opera singers have performed here including Pavarotti and Giuseppe Verdi, whose famous operas such as Falstaff often premiered in this very theatre.
The tour ends with the view of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, The Last Supper, a UNESCO World Heritage sight, housed at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. The delicate nature of this mural and its importance means that Last Supper tickets are strictly limited to those who have pre-booked. This Skip the Line Tour of the Best of Milan includes this difficult to obtain pre-booked entrance, guaranteeing exclusive no line entry and an intimate viewing of the Last Supper.

Traveler reviews
The Visiting Girls of Milan
First - use Viator for your tickets. There are scam places out there but Viator is not one of them. Second - The guide is quite knowledgeable so ask questions. Only suggestion would be for the guide to have a flag since it is relatively easy to lose her in the crowd. Third - La Scala is wonderful, but the Doumo is exceptional. Do not miss it. Fourth - My favorite: The Last Supper. Such a spiritual experience. Amazing and such a sacred image. Such a short time to visit so make the most of your time there.
A good tour for highlights of Milan
This was a good tour if you are interested in visiting LaScala, inside the Cathedral and seeing Da Vinci’s Last Supper. Other tours do not have the option of entering LaScala and Duomo. You will be on your feet for all of the 3.5 hrs of the tour so plan accordingly. Our guide seemed a bit frustrated with the ability level of some of the group members but we remained on time for our visit to the Last Supper.
Duomo, Last Supper
Our tour guide was the worst! He didn't even introduce himself. Since we all had our earpieces on, he was mostly rambling but coughing and clearing his throat. Hopefully I don't need cochlear implants! Other tour members said the same thing. The saving grace was the Duomo and the Last Supper! I highly recommend the tour but hopefully other folks get a different guide.
Lecture was boring, too much about the theatre
The guide never stopped talking - even in the Duomo and at the Last Supper. We asked for a few minutes of quiet so we could just sit and look at the beauty, but she kept going on and on. We spent the longest amount of time at the theatre, where she went into great detail about a small wooden recreation of the building, then showed us her favorite broaches from famous opera stars from the 1890s. To us, the lecture was boring, but it might be good for certain people who like lectures rather than seeing and absorbing majestic paintings and cathedrals.
Nice Venues, tour… meh
The Duomo and the Last Supper were both well worth the tour but the description and information provided was lacking. Both the Duomo and the Last Supper were spiritually lifting and inspirational. Seeing world renown art is a once in a lifetime experience.
