Itinerary
Pass by: This private tour takes you to the exciting Italian city of Milan, the fashionable place to see and be seen. Milan has a rich culture steeped in tradition, beautiful art and hospitable people. Explore with an adept English-Speaking guide, who will tailor the tour to your personal interests.
A highlight of the Milan City Tour is the world-famous Duomo di Milano. This cathedral is the fifth largest in the world, and the largest in all of Italy. It was built in the Gothic style and took almost six centuries to complete. Learn about its art and architecture as you stroll leisurely with your guide. Milan is an ancient city with origins in the 6th Century B.C. For approximately 200 years, it was the seat of the Roman Empire.
Pass by: You’ll enjoy a visit to one of the first shopping malls in the world, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This 19th Century arcade boasts two glass-vaulted arcades and a glass dome, in the style of the period. Browse in the shops, or quench your thirst in one of the many cafés or bars, as the 19th Century poets, artists and men of letters did in their day.
Another noteworthy destination is the world-famous Teatro alla Scala, the Opera House of Milan. Designed by Giuseppe Piermarini, it opened in 1778, having been built on the ruins of a former theater. Travelers from all over the world have enjoyed spectacular operas performed on these premises.
This tour includes the fascinating medieval Sforza Castle ( outside and courtyard) built by Francesco Sforza, the Duke of Milan in the 15th Century. This exclusive tour of Milan is led by a top-rated local guide. You will love it!

Traveler reviews
Milan Tour
Great tour. Guide spoke great English, proficient in the history, and was concise and informative. There is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs.
An exceptional experience in Milan
Our guide, Anna, created an experience that far exceeded our expectations. She is an expert in all things Milan, past and present. We learned a great deal from her during our tour. We feel fortunate to have had Anna to guide us through the streets and precious treasures and buildings of Milan. Thank you!
Great walk
This was a great way to see Milan on the ground. Anna was very friendly and very knowledgeable, with good English, and we learned a lot. It was very enjoyable. And the skip the line tickets were a big plus. Highly recommended.
Disappointing but no blame.
Unfortunately, we were not able to take the tour because my husband was ill and we were delayed in Venice. I understand they had already purchased the tickets for entrance but there was no accommodation or suggestion of a discount for a rebooking. In fact, the comment was, “Well if you can make it the guide will be there”. No reflection on the guide or company because it was definitely not their fault.
Easy walk, great information!
This was just as many reviews have said - easy walk and great pace. Ana was very knowledgeable and flipped our schedule around to accommodate the limiting hours at the theater that day. We may have been able to do the building tours on our own, but she seemed to share more history and information than I expected! We really enjoyed this tour.
