Itinerary
Your tour begins with hotel pickup in San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. You'll then head to the Cactus ATV facilities and be greeted by a professional, bilingual staff. You'll first enjoy a visit of the Aviary (Exotic Bird Sanctuary) and then receive all the necessary equipment including helmets, goggles, bandanas and water. You'll get a single ATV so you can drive it on your own. Your guide will give you a safety briefing and explanation of the activities during the tour and then the adventure begins. You will start driving your ATV and following your guide, exploring mountains, streams and canyons. Admire the breathtaking beauty of Los Cabos as you continue your ride and stop for a break and to drink some water.

Traveler reviews
Advertised Price Is Not What You’ll Actually Pay
We booked this excursion for $50 per person and expected the price we paid to be the price of the tour. After being picked up by the shuttle and arriving at the location, we were blindsided by additional charges of $25 per person for park entry and another $25 per person for insurance. These fees were not clearly disclosed during the booking process. If they were hidden in the fine print, they certainly were not made obvious to customers. The situation became even more frustrating during check-in. We were put under significant pressure to purchase additional upgrades, specifically a private tour. We were told that if we did not upgrade, we would not be allowed to bring our personal belongings with us. Feeling cornered and misled, we reluctantly agreed to pay even more money. This experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: advertise a low price to get customers in the door and then pressure them into paying substantially more once they arrive and have few options. The only reason this review is not one star is because our guide, Zentina, was absolutely outstanding. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the actual tour enjoyable. He deserves recognition for his excellent service. Unfortunately, the business practices before the tour began left a very negative impression. Future customers should be aware that the advertised price may not reflect what you will actually pay and that you may encounter aggressive upselling tactics once you arrive.
ATV.
Luis and Alvaro were the guides; excellent service.
Great experience but you should know some things.
Get an automatic if it's your 1st time. The semiautomatic is too hard coupled with the rugged terrain...waybtoo much shifting gears. What they don't twll you is about the insurance fee you have to pay and the water is a small lol cup of office like seen in a doctor's office so bring water. If you wanna take pictures you have to have a hands-free device that goes around your head or waste. Their photos are $20 a piece. The lady at the photo register was very rude but everyone else was so so nice. The good stuff....it was a thrill...so much fun. Our teacher or guide was a true professional and continued to ensure we felt safe. He took a pulse on how we were doing a lot. He made the experience a good one. It was my 1st time. It was a wonderful experience. However my thumb hurt for 2 days afterwards from pushing the button to accelerate. Still worth it if you're looking for adventure.
ATV Experience
Originally purchased a group tour but ended up with a private tour with Adan. So glad that we went private. Personal attention. More time on ATV. More exciting.
single ATV
Alvaro was was great. He was very patient and he talked about the different animals and the different plants.
