Traveler reviews
Great way to spend a day in Miami
The actual Everglades boat ride wasn’t as exciting as we’d hoped, we spotted a handful of alligators in the water. Mostly you’ll see their backs or top of their heads. You will be provided with ear plugs, boat is LOUD. It’s a large boat, not small. If you sit in the back row like we did, you have the option to stand up which made the ride more thrilling. There is also a short show at the end of the experience. City tour was cool, we had lunch at a food hall, went to Wynwood Walls and Little Havana, and even got to drive by the Versace mansion and building where the Birdcage was filmed. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and easygoing. Overall, this excursion is pricey but worth it.

Artwork, Alligators, Airboats, and Azucar, oh my!
We had a fabulous day exploring Miami, Miami Beach, and the Everglades with Walker. He was a great guide and clearly loves his home; he was eager to share his knowledge of the area with us and willing to go the extra mile (literally) to show us sites we were interested in. We began with a walk through Wynwood to see the art walls; Walter told us about the history of the area and some of the walls and buildings we saw. Then it was off to Everglades Safari Park for an airboat ride where we saw alligators, anhingas, great blue herons, and more, followed by a nature show and an unhurried walk on the nature trail. Next, Walker took us to one of his neighborhood restaurants in Miami Beach (A la Folie) and gave us a walking tour of the Española Way area. Our final stop was Little Havana; Walker told us the story of the area, introduced us to Big Papa at D'Asis Guayaberas (I almost bought a shirt there!), and showed us Domino Park and the Ball and Chain. One final stop at Azucar for ice cream and it was back to our hotel. Your day will be different - Walker was very responsive to our questions and was willing to spend more time at places which interested us, rather than sticking to a set itinerary and schedule. Thank you, Walker, for a terrific introduction to Miami and the Everglades!
Trip of a ifetime
I will always give a review if the service was exceptional and this trip didn't disappoint. From the moment Walker picked us up from our hotel to drop off at the end of the day it was worth every minute. Walker was very knowledgeable about all the areas we went and the World in general. We had a great time and shared stories and life experiences. We felt that we made a great friend and he is such a huge asset to the company. We enjoyed the culture at Little Havana and visiting local traders. The food was incredible We loved the art at Wynwood and saw lots of Alligators at the Everglades Safari I would 100% recommend this trip. You wont be disappointed.
A must for new visitors to Miami
My husband said this was one of the best tours we've ever taken! I agree. Walker was an amazing young man, very knowledgeable about Miami and its history! We love history tours, and Walker did not disappoint. The areas we toured along with his information, helped us feel like we had a good overview of Miami. As first time visitors I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Walker if you can!
