Excellent distillery tour
Excellent tour. Very informative. Amazing building the old gaol building is such a unique setting fot the distillery and this was one of the reasons we chose this particular distillery tour. Our tour guide was great, he was funny, knowledgeable and kept us entertained.
One of the Best Whiskey Distilleries with a Unique Twist.
I am a Driver/Guide and took a party of American tourists into the distillery recently as all 4 were whiskey drinkers, we met Sam who introduces herself as the Number 1 tour guide of the distillery, Sam was very enthusiastic about her knowledge of McConnell’s whiskey and she went out of her way to explain about the difference in the various whiskeys, my clients were very impressed with Sam and ended up purchasing a couple of bottles of McConnell’s 20yr old Malt, afterwards they said they were very pleased to have visited and would definitely recommend a visit to any of their friends and family.

McConnell whisky tasting!!
Sam was a female is a great tour director. We did a tasting and then we asked for the 25-year-old tasting and that was so good that we bought bottles of it to take home to the US. Two out of four of the bottles can be bought in all 50 states of the US ! The cognac barrel tasting was my favorite. Don’t miss a trip to this distillery that is located in an old prison. It’s wonderful wonderful
McConnell’s distillery tour
McConnell’s has built a fantastic distillery and visitor center. The tour was very informative about the history of Irish whisky, McConnell’s history, and the process of making Irish whisky. Gerald did a great job. I highly recommend taking the tour and of course drinking the whisky.
